It all started when Governor George Wallace’s presidential campaign nearly threw the 1968 election. In 1969, Congress almost approved a constitutional amendment to get rid of the electoral college, which will meet on the 14th of December to ratify Joe Biden’s election, despite President Trump’s refusal to concede.
