What the 1930s can teach us about dealing with Big Tech today

The Great Depression shows how people can have a say in the economic recovery from COVID-19. Some have deemed the coronavirus pandemic as the end of 'Big Tech bashing', arguing that our reliance in technology during the crisis has shown them as an ally of ordinary people, and not a foe. But, as Nathan Schneider explains in MIT Technology Review, many of today's US antitrust laws "were created for crises not so unlike the one we face today."
