What lessons can we take from Los Angeles? Since its inception, the Californian city has faced fundamental questions about its sustainability, more specifically: its water resources. With the IPCC report painting a stark picture of the world's climate crisis, many experts point at California - which is facing a "biblical summer of drought, rampaging fires and record-breaking heat" as a clear example of the consequences. However, just as the state demonstrates the issues at hand, many scientists believe it can also become a successful testing ground for solutions.
