Bad thoughts can’t make you sick, that’s just magical thinking

There has been a long-held school of thought that physical illness can be caused by the mind, what is otherwise known as psychosomatic illness. But Angela Kennedy writing in Aeon Magazine argues that the idea that “our thoughts make us sick” is not supported by available evidence and needs to be discarded.
